American Artist painting clouds, skies and landscapes in oil, pastel, and charcoal

North Carolina has been my home since 2012, after many years living in Austin Texas.  I love this beautiful and green state, with tall sheltering trees and dramatic, inspiring skies. Along with occasional landscapes, I mainly paint sky and cloud art.  I appreciate the colors and inspirations of sunrise and sunset, and the movement and shapes of the clouds.

I work in pastel, charcoal and oil; and am blessed to have a wonderful studio that my husband built, which looks out on woods and a creek. I present demos and workshops to various art organizations on painting clouds and skies, drawing, and reductive charcoal techniques. I am also proud to say I worked for FASO (Fine Art Studios Online) for many years, helping to create artist websites.
